Tara Meissner, BScKin, MScOT
Tara has a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Saskatchewan. She has worked as an Occupational Therapist in acute care for over 10 years with patients who have general physical decline, stroke, degenerative conditions and cognitive and/or physical impairments. Tara has an excellent ability to connect, communicate and find common ground with people of all ages. She finds joy in striking up conversations and learning about people at work, at the grocery store and the dog park alike. Tara has a bright, optimistic and encouraging personality; her positivity is contagious and it is hard to be in a bad mood when in her presence. She has a passion for helping people find a high level of independence and realize excellent quality of life, no matter their situation. When she is not working, she can be found spending time with her family, chasing her toddler at the park and playing with her cherished furbaby, Goose.
